1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. Betterhype.com is responsible for the processing of the personal information that Betterhype.com have received and otherwise collect about you.

1.2. In this Privacy Policy, you can read about how Betterhype.com collects and processes your personal information. We process the information you provide us or that Betterhype.com collect in accordance with applicable rules, including in particular the General Data Protection Regulation and the Danish Data Protection Act. Betterhype.com treat all your personal information with respect for the confidentiality of the information and for your privacy.

2. DATA HANDLING – COMPANIES

2.1. Below you can read, how Betterhype.com processes your personal information.

2.2. When Betterhype.com connects companies and Influencers and content creators, Betterhype.com processes common personal details. This includes, among other things, names, email addresses, and telephone numbers for the company's employees, that act as Betterhype.com’s contact persons.

2.3. Betterhype.com handle personal information based on the Data Protection Regulation Article 6 (1), section b, as this is obligatory for fulfillment of Betterhype.com’s contract with you. This processing of data involves publication on Betterhype.com’s website and associated social media. When the contract expires, our data about you is stored in a system behind in accordance with legitimate interest for matching between companies and Influencers and content creators for new campaigns. Influencers and content creators have the opportunity to object to the storage of data, and their data may be removed if they object to it.

2.4. Betterhype.com keeps personal information for a maximum of 3 years after the end of the contract according to the General Data Protection Regulation Article 6 (1) section f. However, material necessary for accounting purposes will be kept, in accordance with the contract, for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the material pertains, based on Betterhype.com’s legal duties as stated in accounting legislation, and in relation to tax authorities, according to the General Data Protection Regulation, Article 6 (1), section c.

3. DATA HANDLING – INFLUENCERS AND CONTENT CREATORS

3.1. As part of Betterhype.com’s concept, when Betterhype.com put companies in touch with you as an Influencer or content creator, Betterhype.com processes personal information about you. This includes your name, email address, telephone numbers, gender, date of birth, IP addresses, and other information on social media, including your target groups on these media.

3.2. Additionally, Betterhype.com collects data from the following channels YouTube, PIWIK PRO and Instagram.

3.3. From Google PIWIK PRO, Betterhype.com collects the following data:

  • Unique visitors (historical – over the past month)
  • Total views (historical – over the past month)
  • Audience distribution (historical – over the past month)

3.4. From YouTube, Betterhype.com collects the following data:

  • Number of subscribers

  • Channel details (name, ID, image)

  • Videos (name, publication date, description, video URL, likes, views) 3.5. From Instagram, Betterhype.com collects the following data:

  • Number of followers

  • Social interaction statistics (over the past month)

  • Audience distribution (historical – over the past month)

  • Social interaction statistics (on content submitted in the platform, as long as the task is available)

3.6. All data is anonymized.

3.7. The purpose of Betterhype.com’s processing of your personal information is that Betterhype.com in accordance with our agreement with you is able to connect you with the companies Betterhype.com works with that matches your profile. You can then enter into agreements with these companies to promote their brands.

3.8. Betterhype.com stores the personal information for 3 years after the end of the contractual relationship to document this until the limitation period expires.

4. DISCLOSURE OF INFLUENCERS AND CONTENT CREATORS PERSONAL INFORMATION TO COMPANIES

4.1. Betterhype.com passes on Influencers’ and content creators’ personal information to companies that use Betterhype.com’s platform. The companies will only receive your address, email address and telephone number, if you actively sign up for specific campaigns on Betterhype.com’s platform. The companies then act as independent data controllers.

5. DISCLOSURE TO THIRD PARTIES

5.1. In some cases, Betterhype.com passes on your personal information to third parties. By third parties is meant:

  • Security-approved data processors, who help Betterhype.com with IT or other services.

  • Authorities or others in connection with legal requirements and injunctions, or for the purpose of safeguarding our legitimate interests in a legal dispute.

  • Data processor agreements have been developed with all our data processors in accordance with the requirement of Article 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation.

6.1. You have several rights in relation to Betterhype.com’s processing of your personal information:
